Susan Powter, a wacked job “health” nut had a program for losing weight with the catch phrase of “Stop the Insanity!”
I want to borrow this phrase for this post.
I belong to several news forums and it has pretty much boiled down every single day to liberals and conservatives all spouting the same old talking points that their respective camps keep spouting.
There is the conservative side of everything the liberals do is evil and then there is the liberal side of everything is so much better than it was the past eight years.

When will people realize that they are doing exactly what their respective camps want them too. They are being led like sheep to a place where no one truly wants to go.
The two party system which has developed has weakened our country. We the People have been duped by those whom we have chosen to represent us. Rather than representing their constituents, many representatives dating at least 100 years have been representing themselves and their lobbyists friends rather than the concerns of their constituents.
I say that We the People need to take charge of our government. From the city and municipality level to the Federal level, there is rampant corruption. We need to start electing people who will represent us and not a lobbyist organization who lines their pockets.
Better yet, we need to watch what our representatives do and vote them out should they not address what their constituents want. Unless an incumbent is doing what they campaign on, and actually represent their constituents they need to not be employed.
STOP THE INSANITY!
Get informed. Ignorance is not an excuse. With so many resources at our very fingertips, there is no reason why a nation as great as ours should be torn down party lines and divided as we are. Open your eyes America. Wake up from the deep sleep which you have been in. Hold your representatives accountable. If they do not respond, get rid of them.
